On 12th February 2025, Chesterfield FC Community Trust will host the 37th Hope Hack, an initiative from The Hope Collective designed to inspire and empower young people.

The event is part of a wider series aimed at creating hope for youth who may be vulnerable to negative influences, providing them with opportunities to shape their futures positively.

The Hope Collective, the driving force behind the Hope Hack events, works tirelessly to instil a sense of purpose in young people, encouraging them to take ownership of their futures and break free from cycles of disadvantage. Through engaging workshops, interactive discussions, and creative collaborations, the event aims to equip participants with the confidence and hope needed to navigate challenges in their lives.

The Hope Hack will provide a platform for young people to voice their concerns and ideas, collaborate with professionals, and envision a future where they feel supported and inspired. By uniting the efforts of community leaders, educators, and young people themselves, the event creates a space for transformation and positive change.

Following the previous Hope Hack event at Derby Theatre, a survey found that over 73% would recommend attending a Hope Hack to other young people.

Derbyshire Violence Reduction Unit (VRU), a key partner of the Hope Collective, continues to advocate for preventative measures that deter young people from being drawn serious violence. The VRU recognises the vital role of hope and opportunity in reducing youth crime and violence and is committed to working alongside partners to create safe, nurturing environments for young people.
