Chesterfield FC Community Trust has teamed up with legal firm BRM to offer a professional Will writing service this February – with all proceeds supporting the Trust’s charitable endeavours.

Cancer support, exercise and social sessions for seniors, and various groups and initiatives for young people are just some of the ways the money raised from the campaign will be used.

From 1st to 28th February, BRM will waive their usual Will writing fee in favour of a voluntary donation to support Chesterfield FC Community Trust.

The firm has helped raise thousands for various charities with similar Will writing initiatives previously, including over £14,000 for Blythe House Hospice, which supports patients across North Derbyshire, and over £200,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support since 2015.

Rob said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Chesterfield FC Community Trust with a Will month this February. The charity provides hugely beneficial sporting, educational, and community-based opportunities that improve the quality of life for those living in Chesterfield and the surrounding area. It’s a privilege to support their amazing work.”

Paul added: “As a Chesterfield-based employer, we’re very proud to support an organisation that does so much for those living in the town – especially those from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds.

“Anyone considering making a Will can contact BRM to arrange their appointment for February, knowing their donation will support a wide range of projects that positively impact the lives of so many in our community.”

Jayne Bacon, head of community for Chesterfield FC Community Trust, said: “I am delighted to welcome BRM as a Friend of The Trust.

“Protecting your loved ones by having a professional Will in place ensures they are cared for, supported and protected from possible difficult legal battles.

“If you’ve been thinking about writing your Will, February is BRM’s Will Month, with all proceeds kindly donated to Chesterfield FC Community Trust. This support will have such a positive impact on our work in the community and we are very grateful to BRM for their valued support.”

Anyone interested in making a Will with BRM in support of Chesterfield FC Community Trust can register their interest at www.brmlaw.co.uk/cfcct-wills-month/ from 15th January 2025.
