Showcase helps charities

A sparkling event has been the jewel in the crown of a Dales business.

CW Sellors hosted its Christmas Wishes Fine Jewellery and Watch Showcase at Chatsworth House, raising more than £1,700 for charities.

Visitors to the country estate were met with an array of glitzy items, including Tanzanite, giftware and natural pearls, as well as charm beads and pure diamonds.

The event raised £927 for the NSPCC and £800 for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance through a selection of festive activities, including jewellery cleaning, a Tissot Superbike simulator, trying to select a real diamond out of a sea of Cubic Zirconia’s and a cocktail bar.

The company’s ‘Kiss. Snap. Like.’ competition is now live on Facebook, which invited those who posed wearing £125,000 worth of Hans D Kreiger diamond jewellery under Derbyshire largest Mistletoe Ball to gain likes for their picture – with the highest number of ‘likes’ winning £1,000 to spend in store at CW Sellors boutiques.
