Photos show bustling Chesterfield town centre as lockdown eases

Chesterfield shop owners say there has been a ‘buzz around town’ since non-essential stores reopened their doors – as these photos show.

Stores ranging from clothing giant Primark to the town’s host of independent retailers reported brisk trade, and Chesterfield Borough Council chiefs said the town has been busier than expected.
