New era for the former Co-op store in Chesterfield town centre – as first tenant opens their doors at redeveloped site

A new business has launched at the former Co-op in Chesterfield – the first to move into the prominent town centre building after its extensive revamp.

Hotpod Yoga Chesterfield, the first new tenant at the redeveloped Co-op site on Elder Way, opened its doors today (Thursday, April 18) – with the first class taking place this afternoon.

Chris Wilkinson, the owner of the new Hotpod Yoga franchise, said: “I love the location. It is prominently located in the town centre and offers convenient parking for customers. It is a beautiful building, full of history and fresh energy. I am very much looking forward to opening the studio.”

The Derbyshire Times were invited for a first look at the new yoga studio – will you be attending any classes?
