Pop-up shop Clarissa’s Interiors is run by mother and daughter Jayne and Clare who started their craft business in 2016.
They make hand-crafted glass jars and lanterns with floral and animal designs as well as creating bespoke designs for customers.

Jayne and Clare continued to sell their products on the local country show and event circuit, so the pop-up shop is the next step for them.
Shaun Brown, centre manager at Vicar Lane said, “We’re very pleased to be able to support yet another young, local business spread their wings and grow, in the heart of Chesterfield and are very excited to see the range of products on offer at Clarissa’s Interiors.’’
The store is located opposite CEX and sells a range of home interiors / home décor collections.

The store is open from 9am–5.30pm, Monday to Saturday.
Despite some high-profile store closures in the town centre recently, including the prominent TJ Hughes store at Vicar Lane, Chesterfield continues to have fewer empty shops than the national average.
