Matlock Bath: Gulliver’s bucks trend

Gulliver’s, which owns Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath, has announced that it had a successful 2012 season.

Managing director Julie Dalton, whose father set up Gulliver’s with the first park in Matlock 35 years ago, said the key to their success lies in investment.

She said: “It’s difficult out there and we’re not pretending the past 12 months have been easy, but our five–year plan is designed to plan for the worst and help us grow in even the most challenging of conditions.”
