Engineering firms team up to support quarrying industry across East Midlands

International bulk materials handling solutions company Martin Engineering – based in Shirebrook – has teamed up with Worksop’s Wright Engineering, one of the country’s leading specialist engineering services firms.

The partnership means the region’s quarry operators and materials processing companies will have greater access to products from Martin Engineering, a US company with its British headquarters at The Tangent Business Hub.

It supplies components such as conveyor belt cleaners, air cannons and dust control products to help eliminate blockages and build-ups and reduce spillages and dust emissions.

Wright Engineering has designed, fabricated, engineered and installed complex engineering solutions for the around 30 years.

Aaron Bartram, general manager for Martin Engineering UK, said he was delighted to join forces with the Worksop-based firm.

“Having recently worked with Wright Engineering on a state-of-the-art recycling plant they designed, manufactured and installed in West Yorkshire, we’re now delighted to formalise our relationship with this new agreement,” he said.

"Wright Engineering is a highly skilled team. As both companies are based in the heart of a region well-known for quarrying and the production of essential construction materials, we’re confident our partnership will add value to producers in the East Midlands.”
