These Chesterfield restaurants are offering Valentine's Day meal deals and takeaways

Just because we cannot visit our favourite establishment in person this year, does not mean we have to forego the luxury of enjoying restaurant-quality food with our special someone.

There are plenty of restaurants located across Chesterfield that will be working hard over Valentine’s weekend (February 13 and 14) to cook up a storm for those wanting to mark the romantic occasion.

So why not light some candles, crack open a bottle of wine and leave it up to your favourite Chesterfield restaurant to sort out the food this Valentine’s?

This will also help to support some of the town’s businesses who have had an extremely difficult year.

Here is just a taste of the Chesterfield restaurants that will be serving up meals, for either collection or delivery, over Valentine’s weekend.

Odyssey Greek Restaurant on Knifesmithgate has launched a special Valentine’s menu to mark the occasion which will be available on February 14 only, including dishes with fun names such as “I have been chicken you out” and “you’re my better halva.”

Posting on Facebook a spokesperson for Odyssey said: “Book soon to avoid any inconvenience.”

Sicily Restaurant on Sheffield Road which describes itself as offering “authentic Sicilian” cuisine is also putting together a three course Valentine’s menu which is £21.95 per person, and is available for both collection and delivery within a three mile radius.

It also includes a gift for every couple.

Posting on their Facebook page, the restaurant says there will be limited availabilty for their Valentine’s menu, and is encouraging customers to pre-order before Saturday, February 13.

French-themed restaurant Maison Mes Amis, on Chatsworth Road, is one of Chesterfield’s highest rated restaurants on Tripadvisor, and is currently operating a take out service for both collection and delivery, according to their website.

In addition to lunch, a la carte, gourmet and Sunday menus, Maison Mes Amis also offers a date night menu – which will be available Thursday to Sunday over Valentine’s Day weekend – and an afternoon tea menu that you can order from Wednesday to Sunday.

And if you prefer to just order a nice dessert to mark Valentine’s Day at home, there are a number of brilliant establishments in Chesterfield to order from.

Moo Lab on Sheffield Road in Chesterfield offer a sumptuous selection of shakes, waffles, pancakes, old school puddings, gelato and cookie doughs.
