New rules for Meadowhall shops when they reopen next week – including Primark and Zara
Meadowhall is publicising new rules to protect from Covid when it opens fully next week.
The mega-mall is set to reopen fully, along with all shops, on April 12.
Under Step 2 of the Government’s Roadmap, premises ‘should only be visited alone or with household groups’.
Meadowhall is also reminding shoppers to wear a mask, unless exempt, to wash hands ‘regularly’, use hand sanitising stations and pay contactless.

The centre has a one way and ‘keep left’ system which visitors are urged to use ‘at all times’. The guidance adds: ‘please look out for signage and be considerate of others’.
Staff in masks and gloves will be on hand to help.
As well as all shops, venues set to open on April 12 include hairdressers, salons and ‘close contact services’, gyms and spas - but not saunas and steam rooms - self-contained accommodation, but only for members of the same household, libraries and community centres.
