Long-established Chesterfield law firm to set up base in Peak District
Graysons Solicitors – which started in Sheffield in 1925 and also has an office on Saltergate in Chesterfield town centre – is set to take over the existing Favells’ private client practice on Station Road, Hathersage.
The firm is working “to provide a seamless transition for existing clients”, while Favells’ staff will transfer to Graysons.

“We already have strong connections through our existing offices in Sheffield and Chesterfield so this is a natural move for us.”
The move is set to allow Favells to concentrate on it’s criminal defence practice.
David Lawson, Favells’ director, said: “We have very much enjoyed serving the people of the area over the years and are glad to be leaving our private client practice in Graysons’ capable hands.”
