Chesterfield's Ashgate Hospicecare to reopen charity shops

Ashgate Hospicecare will begin to reopen its charity shops across north Derbyshire as lockdown restrictions are eased.

Bosses say shops will reopen in ‘a phased way over the next month in line with Government guidance’.

Peter Stone, director of retail and fundraising, said: “Over the past few months, we have been working on putting a number of new procedures in place in time for our phased reopening to ensure our shoppers, staff and volunteers feel safe in our shops.

“We are still following all government guidelines and we will be reopening our shops cautiously and in a phased way so we can adjust as we go.”

Hasland reopens (with the exception of clearance shop) in the week of June 15.

From June 22 shops in Clowne, Dronfield, Rowsley and Alfreton will reopen.

Matlock, Clay Cross, Chesterfield, Staveley, Eckington, Bakewell, Bolsover and Shirebrook shops and Hasland clearance shop follow on June 29.
