Conference promotes valley tourism

Businesses and organisations are invited to get involved in a bid to boost visitors to the area.

Ecclesbourne Valley Railway will host a business and partners event on March 19 in order to promote Destination Wirksworth, a scheme developed by the railway to boost tourism to Wirkworth.

The conference will be held in Wirksworth Town Hall, in Coldwell Street, at noon, and is open to all businesses and groups on the railway line between Wirksworth and Duffield that could benefit from or take part in the initiative.
