Chesterfield dog photography business snaps up top regional award

A Chesterfield business that photographs dogs is celebrating after achieving a big win.

Bounders Dog Photography, owned by husband-and-wife team Joe and Debs Riley, was presented with a ‘Best Dog Portrait Photography Company – East Midlands’ award from Lux Life Magazine’s Pet Products and Services Awards.

Bounders was founded in 2015 when Joe was inspired to try something new by his Jack Russell puppy Scrooby.

Wife Debs took over the marketing and admin side of things in 2016 following the birth of their daughter Jessica, and the company has been on the rise ever since.

Debs said: “Every dog we photograph becomes part of something super special.

"They’re more than just dogs to us, and Bounders is more than just our job, it’s our lives and a complete celebration of love, family and friendship.

"To be recognised for something that is so important to us is wonderful.”

Joe added: "It is really wonderful to have been sought out and rewarded in this way, not just for the quality of my photography, but also for the level of hard work and dedication we put into our little company.

"For Debs to be recognised for her hard work is even more important to me. She is the engine behind our success.

"I'd also like to thank whoever nominated us, and for the huge support we receive from our clients and many fans.

"It feels like a win for the whole Bounders family."
