Chesterfield caravan company welcomes bank support to get through coronavirus period

Robinsons Caravans secured through the government-backed Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme to keep cash flow steady during the lockdown.
The business has continued to operate at a reduced level since March, with ‘virtual viewings’ increasing due to the lockdown restrictions.

Hide AdWhilst the sites have remained partially open to support its customers, the retail business which sells caravan equipment and accessories has been closed.
Paul Seabridge, chief executive, said: “The coronavirus has had an impact on our business over the last few months.
“This is historically our busiest time of the year and we have not been able to trade at our usual levels.
“We are incredibly grateful to HSBC UK for making the funding available to us which has really helped us during unprecedented circumstances.

Hide Ad“International travel remains limited, and as a result, we are seeing new inquiries from potential customers looking to holiday in the UK and a caravan or motorhome is a great way to do this.”
