Caroline Davis, assistant manager at the John Pye Chesterfield site, said: “I have been privileged to be part of the John Pye volunteer team - supporting both national and local charities throughout this unprecedented time.

“Mark Chapman, one of the general managers, and I worked together to gather items and donations in support of Ashgate Hospice, which – with the added pressure of Covid-19 – has faced an increased demand for its end of life care. Ashgate provides pivotal support in the local community so is well known across Derbyshire.

“We will also be supporting Fairplay, which improves the lives of children and young people with disabilities, giving these young people positive experiences and support, despite the current situation.”
