World War One exhibition at museum
Lest We Forget, WW1 exhibition by Garibaldi College and Mansfield Museum, is on at the museum until May 30.
With 2014 marking the start of the centenary of the First World War and 2015 marking the centenary of the opening of the First World War training Camp at Clipstone, Garibaldi College was keen to ensure staff and students engaged in commemorations to mark these events, particularly as the school stands on the site of what was once Clipstone Camp.
Some of the work on display includes ink banner designs, work journal research books and clay relief commemorative plaques.
