Variety is the spice of life at town’s venues
Dreamboats and Miniskirts, the sequel to the smash-hit Dreamboats and Petticoats, hits the Winding Wheel from January 12 to 17.
Talking of hit-makers, they don’t get much bigger than The Three Degrees, who have chalked up an amazing 51 years, sold millions of records around the world and are a firm favourite with Prince Charles. Expect to hear songs such as When Will I See You Again?, Take Good Care Of Yourself and Dirty Ol’Man when The Three Degrees perform at the Winding Wheel on February 2.
Entertainment for the youngest theatregoers kicks off with The Tiger Who Came To Tea (February 12-15), followed by The Basil Brush Show (April 11).
Both shows will run at the Pomegranate and are suitable for viewers aged three years and above.
The Pomegranate is expanding on last year’s inaugural film programme with a host of screenings in 2015 to include The Imitation Game (January 10-13), Mr Turner (January 16-18), and Frozen Singalong (February 9) as well as satellite broadcasts including Love’s Labours Lost by the Royal Shakespeare Company (February 11) and Swan Lake by the Royal Ballet (March 17).
Programme details are in the spring 2015 brochure, which is available at both the Pomegranate Theatre and The Winding Wheel.
