On December 6, the oratorio Messiah starts the choir’s Christmas performances, closely followed by two carol concerts for all the family.

The latest Come and Sing event is on February 28, where pieces by Parry and Vaughan Williams will be studied. In March, Nottingham’s Albert Hall is the venue to hear Mozart’s Mass in C minor, and a Psalm by Mendelssohn.

The season ends at Southwell Minster with works by Vierne, Gjeilo, and Tavener.
