Theatre company's tribute to first lady of the air
Amy was only 27 and had just eight months of flying experience when she made the pic trip in a Gypsy Moth aircraft called Jason.
During the Second World War she had a vital role as one of the many female pilots who delivered airplanes.

Hide AdBadapple Theatre touring company first toured their show, entitled Amy Johnson, 20 years ago. The two actresses portray Betty and Mabel, two WAAF girls who follow Amy’s final mysterious wartime journey and celebrate her pioneering career.
Audiences should expect plenty of humour, as well as a poignant and fitting tribute to Hull’s “First Lady of the Air”.
