The Gruffalo roars into theatres in Nottingham and Sheffield with a monstrous adventure

A stage adaptation of best-selling children’s story The Gruffalo is on course for theatres in Sheffield and Nottingham.

Tall Stories will present a show full of songs, laughs and monstrous fun for children aged three and upwards at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham from May 9 to 11 and at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre from May 18 to 20 2022.

Join Mouse on an adventure through the deep, dark wood in this magical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Sheffler.

Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the high-spirited Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo – is there?
