Stewart Lee tours comedy double-bill to Buxton and Sheffield

Comedian Stewart Lee will be performing a double-bill of new sets in Buxton and Sheffield.

The first of his hour-long sets, Tornado, questions Stew’s position in the comedy marketplace after Netflix mistakenly lists his show as “reports of sharks falling from the skies are on the rise again. Nobody on the Eastern Seaboard is safe.”

Snowflake questions Stew’s worth in a society demolishing the liberal values he has been keen to espouse in a fairy-tale landscape of winter wonder.

Described as “the world’s best living stand-up comedian” in The Times, Stew fronted Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle which won a BAFTA TV Award for best comedy programme in 2012.

Stewart Lee – Snowflake Tornado will visit Buxton Opera House on April 21, 2021 and Sheffield City Hall on June 20, 2021.
