Phoenix rises again at the Playhouse
Eastwood Productions will present Campbell Kay’s play Phoenix Rising at Nottingham Playhouse from September 8-12.
It was first performed at the venue 30 years ago as part of the 1985 International DH Lawrence Centenary Festival and returns to mark the 130th anniversary of the Eastwood author’s birth.
Paul Slack reprises his critically acclaimed performance as Lawrence.
It is written and directed by Nottingham playwright Campbell Kay and is set in 1928.
