New date for Madama Butterfly opera in Sheffield

Puccini’s popular opera Madama Butterfly will fly into Sheffield in 2022.

Korean soprano Elena Dee and international soprano Alyona Kistenyova will feature in the performance at the City Hall on Sunday, February 6.

Back by overwhelming public demand, this award-winning opera returns in a new production with exquisite sets including a spectacular Japanese garden and fabulous costumes including antique wedding kimonos from Japan.
