Ex-Coronation Street Catherine Tyldesley is cast as The Wicked Queen in Sheffield panto
Former Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley will be attracting hisses and boos in her role as The Wicked Queen at a Sheffield venue.
Catherine, who played Eva Price in the ITV soap, wil make her Sheffield pantomime debut in Snow White which runs at the Lyceum Theatre from December 6, 2024, to January 5, 2025.

The actress was last seen on television screens in Channel 5’s cruise ship crime series The Good Ship Murder which ran in the latter part of 2023. Two more series of the show, which starred Shayne Ward, are in the pipeline. Catherine competed in Strictly Come Dancing in 2019 when she was partnered with Johannes Radebe.
In Snow White Catherine will team up with Damian Williams who returns for his 17th year as pantomime dame at Sheffield Theatres.
The cast will include Gladiators’ Viper with further principal cast and ensemble members yet to be announced.
Once again, the show will be written and directed by Paul Hendy (Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella) and produced by the award winning, Evolution Productions, the same team behind last year's fabulous panto, Beauty and the Beast.
As always, the Lyceum panto promises to be top-quality family entertainment packed with laugh-out-loud thrills, stunning costumes, lavish sets, fabulous music and favourite jokes.
Tickets from £15 are on sale now and can be booked at www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk, over the phone on 0114 249 6000 or in person at the box office.
