Derbyshire pub hosts Gong Show competition for new comedians

Twelve new acts will take to the stage at Derby’s Bar One on August 15 to try out their material, some of whom may be performing for the first time.

The Should I Stay Gong Show Competition will be judged by the audience.

Spikey Mike, the energetic and jovial compere, will host the event which will be held outdoors in a covered beer garden and starts at 8pm.

There is a 14+ years age limit on attendance and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
