Derbyshire company Tabs Productions presents thriller The Black Veil online

A theatre company based in Chesterfield will share its adaptation of Charles Dickens’ spooky thriller The Black Veil with viewers online.

With minimal set and lighting, this one-hour play presented by Tabs Productions, rehearsed and staged following social distancing guidelines, will be filmed on the Theatre Royal stage in Nottingham.

It will be made available to view on the RoyalNottingham YouTube on Wednesday, July 29, from 7pm. Go to youtube.com/royalnottingham

The Classic Thriller Season has been running for more than 30 years at the Theatre Royal.

Four long-standing actors from the thriller season – Andrew Ryan, Sarah Wynne-Kordas, Jo Castleton and Karen Henson will be sharing their thriller season stories and memories, as part of a live-streamed Q&A from the Theatre Royal stage. People will have the chance to ask their own questions via social media using the hashtag #ThrillersQ&A or on the theatre’s Facebook page, click here
