Dancing on Ice winner and former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan will waltz into Chesterfield for Cinderella pantomime

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional James Jordan will charm his way into Chesterfield this Christmas.

James will step into the dance shoes of Dandini in the family pantomime Cinderella at the Winding Wheel Theatre. He is cast as Prince Charming’s colourful valet, who is determined to help the course of true love while side-stepping the sinisters stepsisters and their mission to stop Cinders from attending the magical ball.

This year's panto also stars CBeebies Katrina Bryan in the iconic role of the Fairy Godmother.

Television personality James skated to victory on ITV’s legendary show Dancing on Ice in 2019 when he learned a new skill and lifted the coveted winner’s trophy.

James started dancing at the age of 10 and has won endless awards and championships in professional competitions. His dancing career reached further success when he partnered with Ola who he married more than 20 years ago. Together they competed, winning many championships and becoming one of the top 12 dance couples in the world. James and Ola appeared as professionals, pairing with celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing with James competing for the glitterball for eight years.James is a regular columnist for Hello magazine documenting parenthood. He has appeared in The Full Monty (ITV), Celebrity Catchphrase, Celebrity Coach Trip and Celebrity Big Brother.

Away from TV, James is a personal trainer and together with his wife, recently launched the health and fitness plan Dance Shred which saw the couple lose six stone between them.
