Songs From The Village at folk club
Mansfield Folk Club plays host on June 15 to Songs from the Village, with Ben Bowden.
The event will be a first for the club as it stages a musical documentary set in the 1960s in Greenwich Village. The show encompasses the mood of the time through newsreel, poetry and live music. Why not join in the spirit of the time, get ”dressed up” and imagine you’re there listening to Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Paul Simon and many many more
Tickets cost £3/£5. Doors open at 7.45pm for an 8.30pm start. The club is based at the Black Bull on Woodhouse Road, Mansfield.
