Tom was born and raised in New Mills, starting his musical career at the Art Theatre. After auditioning for Sir Cameron Mackintosh, he landed the part of ‘Joly’ in Les Misérables which started his professional career in the UK and abroad.
Dean, also New Mills born and bred, loved to take his wife and two boys to the pantos at the Art Theatre and those on stage who knew him, could hear his laughter from the stalls. Blythe House Hospice cared for Dean during his battle with cancer.
