Saxophone player Karen Sharp heads Chesterfield Jazz Club concert

Saxophonist Karen Sharp, who played in Humphrey Lyttleton’s band for three years, will be giving a concert in Chesterfield.

Karen took up the tenor sax while studying composition at the Royal Northern College of Music.

She has worked alongside top-class musicians such as Sir John Dankworth, Joe Timperley, Tina May and the blues singer Elkie Brooks.

Karen will play at Club Chesterfield, Chester Street, Chesterfield on Thursday, February 19.
