Russian favourites with The Halle
The Halle, the resident orchestra for Nottingham Classics, make their latest appearance at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall next month to launch the 2015-2016 season.
The concert on Saturday, September 26, starts at 7.30pm and is to be conducted by Sir Mark Elder.
The orchestra will perform Glinka’s bustling Russlan and Ludmilla Overture, Rachmaninov’s much-loved Third Piano Concerto, with soloist Sunwook Kim, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s colourful Scheherezade.
