Three bras and a pair of knickers were thrown on stage as Olly Murs entertained the crowd at Capital FM Arena in Nottingham. That’s not to say his performance was pants. Far from it.

Olly burst on to the stage with Did You Miss Me? from his fourth and latest album Never Been Better. Gyrating his way through a number of his biggest hits and working up a sweat, he teased the crowd that there simply wasn’t time to fit in some of his most popular songs such as Heart Skips a Beat and Dear Darlin’. He was, of course, just teasing us.

Highlights included Seasons, Heart Skips a Beat and an emotional performance of Dear Darlin’. The song was performed on a second stage, giving fans at the back a decent view of their idol. Olly originally wrote the song about an ex-girlfriend but tells the crowd it now has a whole different meaning since it was played at the funeral of a friend’s mum who died of cancer.

Olly then heads back to the main stage where he takes on a version of Uptown Funk. Troublemaker is saved until last, before the encore.

After singing, dancing and entertaining the crowd for two hours - one thing is certain - fans certainly get what they came for.
