The two-hour magical musical event, starting at 7pm, will feature favourite pieces Bring Him Home from Les Miserables, You Raise Me Up and Calon Lan, accompanied by instrumental performances.

The Derby High School Chapel Choir will perform music by Mozart, Pergolesi, Faure, Vaughan Williams and Bruckner. There will also be performances by the school’s senior clarinet ensemble, saxophone group and solo items for flute, saxophone, cello, violin and piano, which will include music by Bach, Mozart and Dvorak.

Andrea Leeming, musical director of Melbourne Male Voice Choir, said: “This concert has a lively line-up of goose-bump inducing songs. The acoustics of the beautiful domed Saloon will really enhance the vocals and bring the hall to life.”
