Halloween fun for all the family

Finish off the spooky evening with a lantern parade and hot soup.

Fancy dress is optional but there will be a small prize for the best dressed!

Bring torches, outdoor clothing and a packed tea. The fun runs from 3.30pm – 6.30pm and costs £3.50.

Over at Carsington Water, families have the chance to go batty about bats.

A mammal challenge will be held on October 31 when Derbyshire Bat Group will lead trails, crafts and bat walks from Carsington.

There will be an opportunity to make bat boxes, play a game of bat and moth and create a bat or moth mask. Sessions will be held at 11am-12 pm and 1pm– 2pm. The cost is £1.50 per person plus £5 per bat box.
