Gallery comes of age with exhibition

The Harley Gallery, on Welbeck Estate, has come of age and you can enjoy an exhibition that marks its 21st birthday.

The gallery was constructed within the ruins of Welbeck Abbey’s old gasworks. First opened in 1994 and has now been delivering contemporary art exhibitions and creative events for over two decades.

Running until September 20 at the private estate that inspired it, Rem Koolhaas’s Elements of Architecture: Corridors and Welbeck Tunnels looks at the fundamentals that make up buildings. The exhibition is part of the Grand Tour of exhibitions across Nottinghamshire.
