Extravaganza of art staged in Darley Dale

Peak District Artisans’ Autumn Extravaganza will take place at the Whitworth Centre, Darley Dale, showcasing the work of a wide-ranging selection of artists, designer-makers and craftspeople.

Over 25 members of the group will be showing a combination of new and existing work in an exclusive exhibition throughout the weekend of October 11-12.

Peak District Artisan member, Brian Robinson, who is co-organising the event with his wife Maggie, also a PDA member, said: “As a group, we are delighted to be invited to exhibit at this beautiful Victorian grade 2 building, set in the Derbyshire Dales.

“The exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to showcase some of the talent the Peak District has to offer, and I’m sure visitors will be interested to see such a wealth of artistic skills from around the county.”

The Autumn Extravaganza runs on Saturday from 10am–5pm, and Sunday from 10am–4pm. Admission is free.
