‘Alarms and Excursions’ is 21st century situation comedy at its best - the nightmare of labour-saving devices, the indifference of airline passengers to safety instructions; chatting up in today’s dating world and the joys of non-communication with communication devices.

Produced by David Holmes, the production sees the main roles played by Susan Turner, Nigel Timperley, Simon Gordon and Ruth Higginbottom. The rest of the cast includes Heather Beresford, Joanne Gordon, Rosalie Hoskin, Alison Timperley, Linda Robbins and newcomer Ciaran Lindley.

The play is being performed at the Rose Theatre, Rose Hill, Chesterfield from April 19 to 21. Tickets are £12 each and are available from the theatre box office on 01246 271540.
