Brothers boogaloo are on a mission

The Brothers Boogaloo are back!

After last month’s gig in Matlock, Lester Wright and Lee Boden - aka The Brothers Boogaloo - return to action with an event at The Boat Inn in Cromford on Saturday, November 15.

Together, Lester and Lee are on a mission to make ‘the Derbyshire Dales move to the groove’ and for the last year they have been doing just that, at their vinyl pop up funk and soul nights.

What started out as a chance meeting in Lee’s record shop Spinderella, based on Dale Road in Matlock, has developed into packed out nights in Cromford, Matlock and Matlock Bath.

The Boogaloo boys supported Matt Henry. the star of BBC hit TV show The Voice when he showcased his talent at The Grand Pavilion in Matlock Bath earlier this year.

Lester Wright said of their gigs: “We try and supply the souliest soul under the sun and the funkiest funk from beyond the stars!”

To celebrate a year of funky fun, Lee and Lester have put together a bumper pack of nights for your dancing shoes.
