Birchover Open Gardens – 8/9 June!

This well established event takes place over the weekend of 8/9 June from 1.00 pm to 5.30 pm, with 12 gardens open for you to visit, varying in style from traditional cottage gardens to modern examples.

Traditional, home-made cakes and teas will be served in the Village Hall. As you walk around the village you will be warmly welcomed to view Chris Fleming and Mark Eaton at work, showing their skills in woodwork and stone masonry respectively. Chris will demonstrate his handcrafted green wood working and will exhibit his works. Mark and James Eaton will show off their fine letter workings in stone. There will be a display of paintings to view and purchase (local scenes, wildlife and wildflowers by Joanne Eaton). Plant sales, elderflower champagne, craft stalls and a ‘Birchover in Black & White’ post card display will be dotted around the village in the main street or in gardens for you to enjoy.
