Belper Singers to perform latest concert

Belper Singers’ next concert is to take place on Saturday, November 28, at Strutts Community Centre, Belper.

The concert starts at 7.30pm, and will feature the choir, directed by Mitchell Holland, and a string ensemble, plus the acclaimed Derbyshire-based concert pianist Beate Toyka.

There will be performances of Durante’s Magnificat, Pizzetti’s Messa Da Requiem, Monteverdi’s Beatus Vir and Schubert’s Psalm 23.

Beate Toyka will be playing the Gigue from JS Bach’s Partita and also Vitols Variations on a Latvian Folksong.
