Artisan to play at Chesterfield Library Lecture Theatre

Artisan are Hilary Spencer, Jacey Bedford and Brian Bedford, three friends who decided to sing together for fun back in 1984.

Since then they’ve taken their harmony and humour round Britain, Europe, Canada, the USA, Australia and Hong Kong. They’ve played folk clubs in pub rooms and open-air festivals with audiences of thousands.

On Friday, April 10, Artisan will perform at Chesterfield Library Lecture Theatre, headlining the monthly concert run by the town’s folk club.

Having decided to call it a day in 2005, they have reformed for a limited date reunion tour for 2015 and we are delighted to have the opportunity to put them on at Chesterfield Folk Club.

This concert will be opened by our very own Mondegreen with their blend of self-penned songs and some nifty guitar work!
