Derby’s annual Superhero Picnic in the Park has been cancelled due to Covid-19, but organisers have arranged a fun-filled event for children.
On Tuesday, July 28, from 11am to 3pm there will be the opportunity to take part in crafts such as downloading and colouring a superhero mask, making bunting to decorate your home or garden and you can even download a superhero certificate.

Organisers are asking children to celebrate their heroes, whether it be their relatives, postal workers, park rangers or refuse collectors. Take a photo with them and, with their permission, share it on the @DerbyParks social media pages, using the hashtag #MySuperhero. Post your photos in advance of the day, and they will be shared on a superhero wall.
