CHEATING MAP: These are the areas of Derbyshire where people are having the most illicit affairs

Despite the Covid crisis, a new cheating map has revealed a sharp rise in cases of adultery across Derbyshire from last year.

It’s been said that the main reason for the rise in affairs is ‘lockdown cabin fever’ with more people unhappy being with their partner seeking an affair after becoming fed-up at being stuck at home.

Below is a list of regions in Derbyshire that have seen an increase in affairs from last years statistics.

Alfreton – There were another 1002 affairs recorded in Alfreton which is up from 912 last year.

Staveley – There were 648 affairs in Staveley which is up from 607 recorded last year.

Matlock – There were 594 affairs in Matlock this year up from 546 recorded last year.

Buxton – There were another 576 affairs recorded in Buxton which is up from 542 last year.

Ashbourne – There were another 488 affairs in Ashbourne which is up from 436 recorded last year.

Dronfield – Another 377 affairs were recorded in Dronfield up from 346 last year.

Bolsover – 316 affairs were recorded in Bolsover which is up from 294 last year.

Heanor – A further 291 affairs were recorded in Heanor up from 260 last year.

Bakewell – Finally, there were another 109 affairs recorded in Bakewell up from 97 last year.
