Matlock’s High Tor Players’ revival continues. The group, which came so close to folding last summer, goes from strength to strength.
After the successful and well supported production of two one-act plays in November, the players will be out on tour again this month.
They will present award-winning author Peter Quilter’s Duets, which comprises four short comedies.
The players will be extending their tour this time to include Youlgrave, Ashover, Bakewell and Wirksworth from April 15 to 18 inclusive at 7.30pm.
As the players have no regular venue, they have had to take the production on tour.
“This is a really exciting time for the players,” said chair Jane Small. “We have a number of new actors who have joined us and we are already planning a production of Abigail’s Party by Mike Lee for August and a further production for November.
