A magical Christmas journey for children and their families is coming to Chesterfield.

Tabs Productions and Chesterfield Studios are presenting Rudolph to the Rescue at the town’s Rose Theatre from December 10 to 24.

It’s Christmas Eve and naughty Jack Frost has put Santa into an icy sleep. Nobody will get their presents unless Rudolph can rescue Santa in time.

Join Chief Elf (Sarah Wynne Kordas) and Rudolph (Susan Earnshaw) as they venture to naughty Jack Frost’s (Robert Laughlin) icy lair.

Director Karen Henson said, “At the end of the show each child meets Father Christmas and gets their very own present.”

Rudolph to the Rescue is written by Sue Gilbrook, with music by David Gilbrook.

Tickets £6, contact www. rosetheatrechesterfield.co.uk or call 01246 271540. Performance times are listed on the website.
