Off to a flying start

There can be few sights more pleasing to actors than to see a Sold Out banner outside the theatre and their audience inside having a whale of a time.

The signs this week are a measure of the esteem in which Hasland Theatre Company is held and the power it has to entertain.

A nine-strong cast have taken on the challenge of staging the farce Noises Off by Michael Frayn and turned it into a runaway success. iIt’s fast and frantic, punchy and poignant and lives up to its name by being very noisy!
