Music lovers who enjoy a good pint can head to Barlow Brewery this weekend.

The Carnival Beer and Music Festival runs from noon to 11pm on Saturday, with an acoustic afternoon and the amps carnked up for some rock ‘n’ roll in the afternoon.

Bands lined up to play include Bad Grammar, Grin Factor, Local Heroes, Origin, Rock Ape, The Chosen Rejects, The Shambles, Tom & Annie and Whiskey Bob Shaker.

The event will be headlined by local rockers will be a new beer on the bar from Barlow brewery, Welldressers Tipple 3.8% Pale ale, especially brewed to keep the hard working well dressers going.

Camping facilities are also available for those who want to enjoy the bands and beer without having to worry about getting back home afterwards.

Gates open at noon, with tickets £2 on the gate and £3 -per tent for camping.
