A Chesterfield DJ duo who are gaining national industry acclaim are set to return to their home town for a New Year’s Eve spectacular.

The FilthyGeeks have been writing music together for just over a year and in that time have gained support in the performance world for their high energy DJ sets and eight deck antics as well signing to a major house music label in Miami.

The guys behind the glasses are Stuart Allan and Adam Wagstaff, who began their careers in Chesterfield but have grown now to span the Atlantic where they are signed to Dualism Records.

They have played gigs at the likes of Winter Music Conference in Miami, Zoo Project Festival in Donnington Park and Club Republic Leicester - the UK’s largest club - and have just released their second single, “We Love Our House Music”, a collaboration with house music legend Roland Clark who is infamous for featuring on several of Fatboy Slim’s top ten tracks.

The single is available worldwide on all major music sites and in its first week the track made it into the Traxsource top 100.

On New Year’s Eve the FilthyGeeks return to their home town for a one-off event at Moo Moo Club supported by another of Chesterfield’s up and coming house music stars SundayClub who have featured on BBC Radio 1, on B.Traits show with their 1st single “Lemon Soul”.
