Players are reprising an adaptation of a French farce which their company staged 20 years.
A Flea In Her Ear will be presented by Hathersage Players at the village’s Memorial Hall next week.
The production is a tribute to stalwart member Maurice Hindle who died earlier this year. In the company’s original production Maurice played the two roles of Victor Emmanuel Chandebise and his “double” Poche.
Denis Murphy is taking on the challenge of both roles this time.
A Flea In Her Ear is directed by Peter Miles who is reprising his role as Baptistin, the old man who supervises proceedings at The Purring Pussycat Hotel from his bed.
The show runs from Wednesday, October 21, to Saturday, October 24, at 7.30pm.
